April 21, 2002: Best of Fred section revamped, polls embedded in pages; Majority of site has new design; Adele Astaire added to "costars" section.

April 20, 2002: AlsoDances.Net radio launched.

March 2002: Use of style sheets instituted; site will be switched over. Redesign will take longer than expected. Question regarding Fred's height was added previously (I forget when).

February 21, 2002: Greeting card service launched. More to come soon.

November 11, 2001: Fixed the guestbook. Updated the FAQ. New Steichen pictures of Fred and Adele.

October 22, 2001: A few changes. More lyrics, new information, etc... Still working on the format.

September 9, 2001: The new format is slowly taking hold.

August 13, 2001: The new main menu page is finally finished. Also added a review of the Laureate Collection DVDs, plus screen captures.

July 29, 2001: Zippy The Pinhead and Marmaduke cartoons are up.

July 27, 2001: T-shirts and other merchandise bearing Fred's image is now available. Also, a Newsweek article is posted.

June 17, 2001: Besides the mp3s, I've also added an article about A Family Upside Down from the Cleveland Press in 1978 to the Fred In Print section. Also, two new movie clips of Fred from The Belle of New York, taken from offjazz.com.

May 23, 2001: Finished changing the navigation banners. Added Fred's television co-stars.

May 17, 2001: Changing the navigation bars at the top of each screen. They're slightly highlighted and include a search link now. 

May 14, 2001: Redid the Main menu. I think it looks better now. Don't you think?

May 13, 2001: Completed the Television general info. Will go more in depth in the future, but the summary of Fred's TV appearances is up and appears to be complete.

May 12, 2001: Contest entries coming in! Added Fred's first three dance specials to the Television section.

May 8, 2001: Had the flu. Not much new, but I've been writing the contest. It should be fun! Did some cleaning up; removed dead links; created the news archive; added lyrics to the lyrics page; and so on. Just a bit of quiet time before the fireworks of the official launch.

April 30, 2001: Added a whole bunch of stuff in the music section.

April 29, 2001: Modified the Beginner's Guide and the Image Archive.

April 28, 2001: Added a Beginner's Guide, amended the Miscellaneous page, added a Search Page, and cleaned up and neatened stuff.

April 20, 2001: The nice people at the Scout Report featured this site in their newsletter. Thank you, chaps!

April 15, 2001: Finished my "Best of Fred" section, finally!!! Please go there and tell me what you think!

April 13, 2001: Finished That's Entertainment! and That's Entertainment! Part 2. Listing those film clips was a killer. I hope I didn't make any mistakes.

April 12, 2001: New question regarding Fred's middle name on the FAQ.

April 11, 2001: More co-stars are up on the co-stars and collaborators page. Neatened stuff up.

April 8, 2001: I keep forgetting to update this page... let's see: all of Fred's 8 non musical movies are up. Added a few more names to the co-stars and collaborators page. Plus other stuff. I've been busy, so it's not much. Look around.

March 25, 2001: Amended the answer to the marriage question in the FAQ.

March 24, 2001: Began the section on co-stars and collaborators. Also added a small section of credits and thanks to the About This Site page.

March 23, 2001: Added pictures and as awards and nominations page to the biography, making it pretty much complete.

March 21, 2001: Lots of changes. The entire text to the biography is up- pictures to come. Also, the scans of the program for Ava's tribute are up, as well as new brief reviews for the books in the Buy Fred section, a lyrics page, and the FAQ.

March 17, 2001: Finally! All 31 musicals have complete information up. Also, I've added a feedback page, so feel free to write in.

March 16, 2001: ...and so on for "You Were Never Lovelier", "The Sky's The Limit," "Ziegfeld Follies," "Yolanda and the Thief," and "Blue Skies," bringing us up to Fred's first retirement.

March 13, 2001: Added complete info for "You'll Never Get Rich" and "Holiday Inn."

March 11, 2001: Added complete info for "Carefree", "The Story of Vernon and Irene Castle", "The Broadway Melody of 1940" and "Second Chorus". Not bad for a day's work, especially since my computer hung and I had to redo "Vernon and Irene Castle", the longest so far, by far!

March 10, 2001: Added complete info for "Roberta" and "Top Hat".

March 9, 2001: Finished the "Buy Fred" pages, as well as added complete info for "Flying Down To Rio" and "The Gay Divorcee." The complete information pages take ages to do- phew!

March 5, 2001: Finished the synopsis of all the musicals. A huge thanks to Vera Lim for providing me with VideoHound's Golden Movie Retriever 2001!

March 1, 2001: Terry Pearson's "Meeting Fred" page is now up, as well as a better "Buy Fred" page, a scan of the Centennial Tribute program, plus an updated front page graphic.

February 23, 2001: The ranking page is up. Slowly but surely, this site is coming together.
